Flour' was established as a company in 1983 by the present
Chairman of The Board, Mehmet Hekimoglu, and his brother
H. Ibrahim Hekimoglu.
Initial production started at 200 tones per day capacity
and the company rapidly gained a leading position in
the flour industry, establishing the 'flawless flour'
slogan. Hekimoglu has a strong place in Turkish luxury
flour market with its standard quality, and has reached
600 tones daily wheat processing capacity by increasing
its production capacity All units of the factory are
equipped with German mills and machinery including names
like Miag, which is the strongest in Milling Industry,
and Buhler. All the processes; from wheat processing
to flour packing; are automated.
To guarantee the best quality Hekimoglu's quality control
process starts from buying the raw material to final
delivery of the goods, and is supervised by well equipped
quality control lab. Hekimoglu's large R&D lab has
facilitated the development of new techniques in the
production of sweet pastry, cooked ground beef, phyllo,
and luxury bread flour.

Flour has got 70.000 Tones raw material storage capacity
in its American York and Chief brand silos and horizontal
grain bins. The company employs 135 people and creates
employment opportunities for many others in the flour
industry. Its products reach customers and wholesalers
in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmr, Bursa and Antalya.
Hekimoglu Flouris listed as one of Turkey's 500 largest
and most successful companies an annual survey produced
by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, and it will grow
to even more successful heights in the future.
